A sex offender evaluation consists of evidence-based intellectual, personality, and sex offender specific testing and interviews as well as review of collateral information. This is designed to identify the breadth and severity of any maladaptive sexual behaviors/diagnoses. Additional assessment tools are utilized to assess for risk of violent or non-violent sexual offending. A final report compiling this information addresses the sexual specific questions laid out prior to the evaluation and recommendations for any indicated sexual offender treatment.
